Flowers and weddings go hand in hand, but that doesn't mean you have to be stuck with tradition. Hopefully the tips below will give you some inspiration to break free from tradition.

1. Princesses and Maidens
Ditch the bouquets for the bridesmaids, and have some delicate wreaths made that they can wear in their hair. Especially good for princesses and greeks goddesses.
2. Petal Power
Forget the traditional rice and confetti! Have little baskets filled with rose petals to have guests throw after the ceremoney.
3. Simply Fantastic
It is often said that Less is More, and sometimes simple flowers look really fantastic in numbers. So, you could easily use something like bunches of Queen Anne's Lace and variegated Ivy will look elegant and lush. Even something as simple as three glass tumblers full of flowers.
4. Silk or the real thing
In todays world, silk flowers are becoming more popular. And with todays technology, silk flowers are becoming almost as real as the real thing. Not only do they look fantastic, they also keep really well. Silk flowers could be really good for boutonnieres and corsages.
5. Rough it
Unstructured, ribbon-tied bouquets are all the rage at the moment. They are usually in vivid, monochromatic tones. Bouquets can be wrapped with colorful ribbons, and in different fabrics, perhaps even satin or velvet.
6. Added Arrangements
At your reception site where you always have those freestanding tables, you can easily use low bowls filled with ruby red roses, perhaps cylindrical vases wrapped with filo leaves and filled with calla lilies.
